The headliners of Dirty Disco 2015 are back again. Prepare yourself for a night filled with hypnotic sounds, heavy beats, and trippy drops brought to you by Infected Mushroom. On Friday, April 29th the CVII Animatronica Live Tour comes to the Pressroom in Phoenix!
Infected Mushroom is a DJ duo made of Israeli-bred and LA based Amit ‘Duvdev’ Duvdevani and Erez Eisen. They’ve been ranked twice as the world’s “10 Best DJ’s” by the Bible of Scene and are one of the best selling music groups in Israeli music history.
Phoenix is just one stop along the way on their international tour. The duo will also be making 2016 appearances in Amsterdam, Canada, the UK, Italy, France, Israel, and Sweden. Though it may seem like they are always on the road, in 2015 Infected Mushroom released their 10th album Converting Vegetarians II. CVII is a sequel to their 2013 album Converting Vegetarians.
The electronic duo has made a full circle in their music producing by returning back to their native psychedelic trance vibes on their new album. It’s near impossible not to get chills as each track on CVII takes you on a unique journey. This album is an experience, not just a compilation of songs. The first track on the album, “She Zorement”, pairs unique sounds with a pulsating rhythm which feels like riding waves.
The single off the album, “Fields of Grey” ft. Sasha Grey, is one of the more popular tracks, with almost 500k plays on SoundCloud. The voice of Sasha Grey combined with Infected Mushroom’s own Dundev’s vocals, overlay laser-like synths and hard drops on the track are sure to trip you out.
