The UK’s biggest electronic festivals is returning in 2016 after its 7th consecutive sellout crowd and it just got even bigger, adding several new heavyweights to their already colossal lineup. 2016 will be the first year Creamfields extends to a 4 day festival beginning on Thursday August 25th and stretching to Sunday the 28th. Creamfields 2015 Official Aftermovie
The festival kicks off on Thursday with only four stages, some of the artists to look forward to are Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Eddie Halliwell, DJ SKT, and Midnight City but the real party begins on Friday. With 6 stages open on Friday the roster includes the new additions of Alesso, Knife Party, and Nervo on the mainstage with more to be announced. Other stages will host the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, Andy C, Michael Calfan, Sam Feldt, Curbi, and many more.
Saturday is when all hell breaks loose with 10 different stages and so much madness it seems impossible to pick which stage to go to with massive headliners at all of them. The South Stage will host Martin Garrix, Avicii, Nicky Romero, and more. While the North Stage will be ‘smashing the house’ with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell & Ingrosso, and DVBBS. Trance fans will get their share at the Cream Saturday stage with Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, and Tchami. HARD will be hosting their own stage featuring Marshmello, Destructo, Jauz, and power duo Jack Ü. Laidback Luke, Tommy Trash, R3hab, Firebeatz, and Julian Jordan will all be performing at the Pepsi Max Stage. That’s not even all for Saturday but if you think that’s crazy just wait till we get into Sunday’s lineup.
For the 4th and final day starting off on the North Stage we’ll have Calvin Harris, Annie Mac, and Disciples. The South stage will host giants Tiësto, Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, Galantis, and Don Diablo. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are hosting their very own Smash The House stage where we will see them perform for the second day in a row as well as W&W, Ummet Ozcan, and special guest Steve Aoki (3 Are Legend performance???). The Revealed stage will host panda fam founder Deorro alongside Blasterjaxx, Dannic, Thomas Gold, Sick Individuals, and Kill the Buzz.
I could keep listing names off but I don’t want to sit here all day and the crazy part is the lineup isn’t even finished with more to be announced soon! With more than 200 acts making their way to Creamfields over Bank Hol Weekend this is sure to be one of the biggest festivals of 2016. If you’re in the US chances are you’ll be stuck at home like the rest of us wishing we were there but you may be in luck as they have had a livestream of the festival each of the past few years and will likely have again so stay tuned! If you are lucky enough to be able to attend you can find tickets and more info at http://www.creamfields.com/.
