YetepInsomniac has been known to push the boundaries day in and day out. They’ll look at an idea and say, how can we progress this idea into some forward-thinking creation that will change the game. It’s why they put such an emphasis on every individual concert-goer as the “headliner” and not just a festival attendee. The effort, thought, and time that goes into the experience they create for all their headliners is diligent at the very least.
What started this whole idea to partner with eBay was the single thought that “headliners” ask themselves possibly quiet frequently when they are in front of their favorite stage at EDC, “What does it feel like to be that DJ?”. Well thanks to the people at Insomniac, now you can bid on the chance to experience that exact feeling in the 2016 EDC Week Charity Auction.
* EDC Week 2016 Charity Auction *
This year’s installment of the annual auction, presented in partnership with global e-commerce partner eBay for Charity, offers many once-in-a-lifetime experiences. From skydiving with Party Favor, a studio master class with Oliver Heldens, even a chance to push play for the first track on the main stage at EDC, Insomniac went all out this year for their 20th anniversary! Check out this list below in the image and this link here to see a full list!

All of the money raised through the auction goes directly to The Shade Tree, the only 24-hour shelter servicing the needs of women, children, and pets affected by abuse and trauma in the Las Vegas area. Last year alone, the Shade Tree provided a safe space for 6,000 vulnerable Las Vegas residents. The money raised will go directly to The Shade Tree’s Children’s Activity Center (CAC), a program that nurtures the mother-child relationship through arts and education. The Shade Tree believes education is the vehicle that breaks the cycle of homelessness and abuse.
The Charity Auction is now open for bidding! The first half of the bidding period will run through May 6, with the second portion beginning May 2 at noon PT through May 12. Make sure to start your bidding fast, as these hot items won’t last long. To view a full list of auction items and begin bidding, visit the EDC Week Charity Auction 2016 page on eBay.
