New Monstercat Release With Nitro Fun & Hyper Potions – Checkpoint

FRI, MAY 27, 2016

You know a song is really good when the artwork matches the vibes of the song perfectly. Before even listening to this tune you could already guess by the race car track floating in the sky that you’ll be cruising around as 8-bit electronic music fills your ears drums with pleasure. Cranking the BPMs all the way up to 140, that’s exactly what the song does. Immediately the digitized melodies have you feeling like you’re in the seat of a nascar, speeding around corners with no hesitation at what is in front of you! Checkpoint, a collaboration between Nitro Fun & Hyper Potions, is here to give you just that sensation! Check out the song below!

Although Nitro Fun has definitely dipped his foot into electro music before, he usually makes house or glitch hop styled music. But of course any producer who wants to expand their music is continually trying to push their limits on what they make and the energetic future bass Checkpoint” surpasses the limits of listeners I’m sure.

Hyper Potions on the other hand is known to dabble in future bass but the realm of this 8-bit digitized music is unheard of and rather new for them. Listening to the last drop of the song as well and you can hear influences of trap coming into the song as the beat switches up to something more funky.

SPONSORED

Nitro Fun and Hyper Potions were a rather odd mix of styles, but both of the groups pulled it off phenomenally and ended up with a completely unique track that’s a fresh new change for audiences to hear.

What's up everybody! My name is Eric Alexander, although feel free to call me The Kid Eric, which is my DJ name. I'm a recent college graduate who started with Relentless Beats back in October 2015. My dream is to be a headliner DJ, but if that doesn't happen, then what I'm doing right now is perfectly alright. As long as I got my music and good vibes. My favorite music is anything with a lot of bass in it. Bass house, dubstep, DnB, trap, and whatever else there is out there that I can put my hands on. I think it's easier to just call me a bass head really. That's pretty much there really is to me. After all, I'm just a kid doing what he loves. If you ever see me at a show don't be afraid to grab my attention and say what's up! I absolutely love meeting new people <3
