After laying low for the last few months, UK based house-spinning remix master Alex Metric is back in action, this time with a classic rework of the Indie Rock track “Mountain At My Gate” by Foals, making it instantly dance-floor ready!
Known for his transformational remixing abilities, this track is no exception. With a progressive baseline replacing the original track’s drum based rhythm, the vocals neatly fuse in with the atmospheric synths, rejuvenated with a thumping pulse. This fresh remix is a dreamy cross between disco and deep house and remains an ode to Metric’s mastery!
