Cosmic Gate & Eric Lumiere Take You to the “Edge Of Life”
Cosmic Gate makes some of the best thumping and heart gripping trance and house music you’ll ever lay your ears on. With songs like “Alone“, “Falling Back“, “Happyness“, and more they’ve earned their rights as one of the best duos to ever come from the European dance scene. Just recently they’ve released their newest track with Eric Lumiere, who they’ve collaborated with before, to bring everyone “Edge of Life”.
Deciding to once again make a progressive house track, the track starts out fairly strong having a four on the floor provide a drive while a piano melody slowly dances over the top. Pretty soon tension dissolves and vocals come in singing the story of two lovers who leave everything behind so they can stand out to the edge of life embracing each other. Soon after, fat synth chords fill the room up, and vocals eventually come back in and the build up starts. Nothing really hits me deep in my feels like a good progressive house drop does, and together Cosmic Gate and Lumiere nailed this one, you’ll have to listen for yourself and see how so.
