The Relentless Record Collection: FKi 1st’ “First Time For Everything (part 1)”

FKi is an acronym standing for Fuckin Kickin It and started as an Atlanta based production team. Their mixtape Transformers N The Hood, being hosted by Dj/producers Diplo, Heroes X Villains, and Mayhem quickly made waves in not only the electronic music but Atlanta rap scenes. FKi 1st discovered artist Post Malone, and produced“White Iverson”, which gained over 1 million plays on Soundcloud within 1 month and has now became a double platinum selling record. In 2015, FKi 1st also making a name in the club and festival scene playing DJ sets at Trap City, Low End Theory, Camp Trill, Mad Decent Block Party LA, Trillectro and more. After such monumental success FKi 1st has moved on to a more lyrical endeavour with his release of First Time For Everything (part 1) via Mad Decent.

For the first time FKi 1st is throwing down his own lyrics on his own beats with features from Danny Seth, ILoveMakonnen, Elkka, NJOMZA, Post Malone, and the late Bankroll Fresh, who was gunned down at Street Execs studio in Atlanta, Georgia on March 4, 2016. With this being “part 1” one could speculate there could be a part 2, and we can’t wait to see what’s coming from FKi 1st next.
