YetepChad Cisneros and Dave Reed are the brains behind progressive trance duo Tritonal, and believe it or not they formed this dynamic musical partnership from opposite ends of the United States after meeting online in a sound production forum. Not all dj duo’s meet this way, but I sure am glad this one did because these guys have something great going.
Tritonal remixed American Idol alumni Adam Lambert‘s single “Ghost Town” in 2015, and now they came to him wanting to collaborate for a song, and of course he said yes. The single is titled “Broken,” also with support from Jenaux, and is the first to be released off Tritonal’s upcoming album, ‘Painting With Dreams.’
“Broken” has all the elements for a summer banger with some tropical sounds, a bouncy drop, and emotional lyrics courtesy of Adam. The track really shows Tritonal’s diversity in genre as they stray from progressive trance to a more future house sound. With lyrics like “When we met, you made me forget that my heart was ever broken!” I think the song itself will be healing broken hearts, and heard at lots of upcoming festivals.
