Lane 8 Fall Mix Tape

San Francisco-based house producer Lane 8 (real name: Daniel Goldstein) made quite a splash when The Magician played his debut single, “Don’t Want You Back”, in the 23rd installment of the wildly popular Magic Tape series. The follow-up single, titled ‘Dusty’, surpassed all expectations, racking up diverse DJ support from the UK’s Jody Wisternoff and Kidnap Kid to California’s Viceroy and Geisha Twins. From there, a 3-track EP, reworks of Fleetwood Mac and Brandy, and an official remix for Austin-based band Snowden have all solidified Lane 8’s position as a household name in the growing California house scene. When you consider that Lane 8 has accomplished all of the above in less than six months, it’s no wonder countless DJ’s, blogs and music fans are following his every move.

Just in time for his tech-less tour, where he asks that nobody carry their phone on them for the sake of being in the moment, Lane 8 a couple days ago put his newest mix tape for all the house enthusiasts who follow his lead. Putting you in ASOH(A State of House) Lane 8 really tries to take all of his audience on a journey as they float through time and space with nothing but a thumping four on the floor and groovy basslines that bounce around as you match the rhythm with your dance moves for a total of one hour and forty minutes on this mixtape.

Don’t forget that Lane 8 will be here in Arizona on September 24th at Monarch Theater on his Tech-Less tour! If you want tickets can be found right here, and don’t forget to follow Lane 8 on all social media accounts below to stay connected!
