YetepZeds Dead and NGHTMRE are two very prominent figures in bass music and it’s about time they came together for a track. Zeds Dead played a sneak peek of the collab during their set at Spring Awakening a few months back, and they along with NGHTMRE teased small clips of the song on social media a few days prior to it’s release, and now it’s finally here.
Being two artists of harder styles, their collaboration “Frontlines” surprisingly takes a lighter route, but still very successful. Featuring vocals from GG Magree, the song starts off with an energetic buildup transitioned into a pleasant future bass drop and somewhat of a trap beat.
With Zeds Dead and NGHTMRE being two of my favorite artists, I was ecstatic about the release of “Frontlines” and its result blew my mind. Although not what some would expect, I think the song displays the talent and diversity from both artists.
Arizona will be graced by the presence of both ZD and NGHTMRE coming up, and you don’t want to mis your chance on hearing “Frontlines” played live. Zeds Dead will be performing at the Marquee on October 27th for their Northern Lights Tour, and NGHTMRE will play a set at BOO! on October 15th. Maybe you’ll even get to hear it twice.
