YetepIt’s hard to imagine the heavy house stylings of the colossal Kaskade intertwined with the sweetness of Fleetwood Mac, but the “Atmosphere” producer certainly made it work with a remix of the British rock band’s “Dreams.”
“Not altering the too-perfect classic vocals but combining them with crazy sexy bass + beats, this song is a certified weapon on the floor,” Kaskade wrote in a Facebook post announcing the song on Oct. 3.
Kaskade collaborated with fellow house producer L’Tric who referred to the track as a “retouch,” emphasizing that the beauty of the song still remains within the duo’s dance alterations. It’s clear that L’Tric- an Australian duo best known for their 2015 hit “This Feeling-” contributed the deep bass, Kaskade handled the synths, and Stevie Nicks has been killing the airy vocals since 1977.
Kaskade & L’Tric vs. Fleetwood Mac “Dreams”
Stevie would probably be dancing to this house rendition as we speak.
Kaskade and L’Tric’s “Dreams” remix is available for free download on Kaskade’s website.
