YetepA-Trak recently released a diverse mix titled “Cut It Out” where he does anything but. In fact, the incredibly talented DJ managed to cram 54 songs into the 74-minute mix. He pulls samples from across genres but it’s all brought together by A-Trak’s masterful spinning. I mean who else could follow $uicideBoy$ with Paul Simon and make it work? He has a reputation as one of the best DJs in the world and this mix lives up to that reputation.
The mix opens with a mashup of Kanye West‘s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and Jean-Luc Ponty‘s “Don’t Let The World Pass You By”. This is followed shortly by a dope rendition of Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun” by Sunni. He closes out with “Solid Wall Of Sound” by A Tribe Called Quest. A-Trak plays a little of everything in this mix, hip-hop to hardcore.
