Diplo & Autoerotique’s Latest Track Will Make You Move Your Waist Line to the Bass Line

Diplo and Autoerotique have teamed up for a new bass-heavy house inspired track that has everyone dancing. The pair has worked together previously on Major Lazer‘s “The Sound” and their latest is just as attention-grabbing. “Waist Time” is a perfect mix of Diplo’s trappy beats and drum lines with Autoerotique’s deep house beats. The song repeats the same instructive lyric, “girl work your waist line to the bass line,” over a building beat and hard drops.

“Waist Time” was released last week on Diplo’s Mad Decent label. An official music video featuring neon lights and hula hooping girls was released in addition to the song. It includes interesting perspectives not usually seen by attaching go-pros to hula hoops. It makes for a simple but eye-catching music video that recognizes a growing craze in the EDM community.
