YetepTiga James Sontag, just Tiga for short, is a DJ and producer from Montreal. He’s been making music for over 25 years even though he hardly looks a day over. He’s put out three albums and countless remixes that have earned him the title of master mixer. He’s remixed songs from The xx, Moby, Depeche Mode and many more. Tiga has a busy touring schedule that often keeps him over seas. In an interview with the Montreal Gazette, Tiga said, “I’ve been in two or three cities every week for 15 years”.
CRSSD‘s Spring Festival is just a couple months away, but this week’s RB Deep in the Mix takes us back to last year’s festival when Tiga performed.

He opens a very danceable set with Tripmastaz “Ride Heights”. About 17 minutes into the hour and a half mix Tiga drops a dope remix of “Pride” by Adesse Versions and shortly after, a groovy track from Charles B. He sneaks some originals in there, too, like “Always”, his mix of “Bugatti” and his track with Eats Everything, “Dancing (Again!)”. Overall it’s a solid festival mix that leaves us eager for more!
