Yellow Claw & The Barong Family Label

Trap phenomenon’s Yellow Claw first formed in 2010 and consisted of Jim Aasgier, Nizzle, and MC Bizzey. They built their name and reputation in their hometown of Amsterdam through underground weekly parties. In 2013 Yellow Claw signed with Diplo‘s Mad Decent Label and released their first international EP Amsterdam Trap Music. 2014 was a standout year for the group. They created their Blood For Mercy clothing line which would later become the title for their first album. In May they created the Barong Family label that was distributed through Spinnin’ Records until 2015 when they became their own independent label. In 2016 MC Bizzey left Yellow Claw but they continue to produce and perform as a duo.

Barong Family is home to some of the best and the hardest in the industry right now, including Kayzo, San Holo, Wiwek, and LNY TNZ. It’s a label that doesn’t hold back and continues to turn out headbanging hits.

Last year the label put out a massive 15-track compilation album. The Barong Family Album is their first compilation album and everybody came to play. Each track features two or more artist from the label making this album a truly collaborative effort. The styles vary from heavy bass to hardstyle to melodic.
