Electric Forest Invites 95 Additional Artists

Entering its seventh year, Electric Forest has become one of the most unique destination festivals in the United States, drawing a very loyal fan base who come back each year. Annually held in the back woods of Michigan, the forest is one of the best vibe-fests you’ll find in North America and perhaps even the world. EF is fast becoming one of the most respected festivals in EDM.

Once Upon The Forest: Heroes

This year for the first time, EF has split up into two consecutive weekends due to it’s growth, high demand and goal to remain as intimate as possible. Back in November, the initial lineup was dropped including The String Cheese Incident, Odesza, Bassnectar and Above and Beyond as a few of weekend one’s headliners and String Cheese, Bassnectar, and Dj Snake headlining Weekend two.

Now, 95 artists have been added between the two lineups, and it’s looking like Electric Forest 2017 is gonna be amazing. Among those added to both weekend’s lineups were The Revivalists, Snakehips, Haywyre, EOTO, SteLouse, Andy Hall, Bill Nershi and Keith Moseley. Additionally confirmed First Weekend performers include Tycho, Breaking Biscuits, Andy C, Crizzly and Space Jesus. Second Weekend newly added acts include Conspirator, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Break Science, Delta Heavy, Dr. Fresch and River Tiber.

Electric Forest’s unique atmosphere makes it stand out among others and it has become a world of its own. I attended EF last year for the first time and definitely plan to attend the forest as many more times as i possibly can. Weekend one has already sold out, but tickets for the second weekend still remain, so if you’re considering experiencing the forest, grab your tickets now.
