YetepAC Slater, king of bass house grooves, has built a name for himself and become known for his “Night Bass”. It fuses elements of house music with the dirty basslines of UK garage and old-school synths. In 2008 his remix of “Turn the Music Up” on Trouble & Bass became a bass house anthem. Moby listed it as one of the best 10 tracks of the decade, declaring it a “perfect song.” Since then he’s released over 100 tracks and created his own label, Night Bass, that continues to release some of the most groundbreaking and forward-thinking bass-heavy dance music in the underground.
This Relentless Beat of Week is the title track to AC Slater’s newly released EP, Head Knockin.
“Head Knockin” kicks it off with it’s textured rolling basslines, hype vocals and high-energy build ups. It brings that heavy, gritty bass sound we’re used to from AC Slater and is guaranteed to get the heads knocking everywhere, from club floors to wave pools. AC Slater has brings his bass house sound to Wet Electric on Saturday, April 29th as part of Wet Electric’s RB Dep Takeover! Don’t miss the pool party of the season; get tickets here.
