Calvin Harris’ New Single With Ariana Grande, Yung Thug & Pharrell Williams Will Give You ‘Heatstroke’

Calvin Harris blew fans away by collaborating with artists of other styles, Frank Ocean and Migos, on the recent release of his single ‘Slide’, and he’s not stopping there. After some teasing on social media, Calvin Harris has released ‘Heatstroke,’ which features Ariana Grande, Yung Thug and Pharrell Williams.

Harris also shared some details on how ‘Heatstoke’ was created, using a 1976 Yamaha UK Ebony Piano, a Flexitone and other real instruments that he played himself. Over the years Calvin has incorporated more and more pop into his productions. While he will always be one of edm’s top producers having created legendary tracks like ‘Summer,’ ‘Sweet Nothing’ and ‘How Deep Is Your Love,’ pop has definitely become a strongpoint f0r Calvin Harris.

Similar to ‘Slide,’ ‘Heatstroke’ is another catchy, upbeat and fizzy party tune about simply having a good time, and it’s here just in time for summer. “All my songs in 2017 have been sonically designed to make you feel f****** incredible.” – Harris tells npr music.

Yung Thug’s cheerful introduction and verse blend with features from Ariana and Pharrell beautifully. With the three vocalists set to Calvin’s smooth poppy funk sounds in the background, this one is bound to be turning up dancefloors all summer long.
