Relentless Beats’ Official Phoenix Lights 2017 Guide

Our third installment of Phoenix Lights is just days away. It’s our largest one yet with a lineup including Alesso, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Griz, STS9, 21 Savage, Pete Tong, Justin Martin and so many more! We can’t wait to spend the weekend under the stars and under the lights with all of you.

Wristbands:

Due to issues out of our control, not everybody who purchased a ticket online may not receive their wristband in time; no worries! You can pick up your wristbands at the Box Office at Hance Park starting at 10 am both Saturday and Sunday.


Afterparties:

The event goes from noon to 11 pm both Saturday and Sunday leaving plenty of time for after parties both nights, and just like the Phoenix Lights lineup the afterparty lineup is STACKED. On Saturday Illenium & Crywolf take over the Supernova (Monarch Theatre), Josh Wink will be running the decks at the Stargazer (Bar Smith) afterparty and RBDeep Presents Special Guests + Bijou b2b Gerry Gonza will invade Dark Matter Afterparty in the Scarlet Room.

Sunday is just as packed with Keys N Krates & Crizzly at the Supernova, Coyu + Pig & Dan are bringing the deep, dark beats at the Dark Matter after party, and last but definitely not least, Griz takes us to Planet X (Shady Park), ending the weekend on a high, and funky, note. You MUST have a valid 2 day or corresponding 1 day wristband and after party ticket to attend. You can purchase tickets from the links in the artist names and below:

The Spinsterz will be there to provide guests with hoops, poi, gloves, and other fun activities. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a new hobby, maybe it’s your New Year’s Resolution even, this is the time!

Stop by the Cobra Arcade Patio for FREE Arcade games including DDR (Dance Dance Revolution), TMNT, Simpsons, Galaga, Cobra arcade (this one has 30+ games in it!), MK2 (Mortal Kombat 2), Pacman and fittingly Aliens and Area 51.

The Pop Icon will keep you going all night with their FashionPopCandy lollipops. IV Revival is a locally owned and operated mobile IV Hydration company that focuses on all aspects of health and wellness. Their infusions are formulated to remedy anything from hangovers and dehydration to more serious chronic illnesses. Stop by their booth to feel your best during Phoenix Lights.

Fresh + Jive pair fun+food to feature hot and pressed gourmet wraps, modern salads, tantalizing twists on tater tots and hand-made mac and much more. Kool Twists will be serving up soft-serve ice cream cones in 9 delicious flavors along with sundaes, milkshakes and Root Beer Floats. The Spot specializes in al things waffle, including chicken and waffles and a variety of dessert waffles. Stop by these booths for all your food and drink needs!

The Plastic Bottle Project, based out of Phoenix, will be returning for Phoenix Lights. They keep our festival grounds clean all weekend, collecting plastic and cans, turning them in for money that goes into feeding the homeless of our community. Visit their booth to find out how you can get involved and to win Relentless Beats treats, like tickets to upcoming shows, RB gear, and VIP upgrades!

In addition to all these great vendors, official Phoenix Lights merchandise will be available.

Cool Off, Seek Help, and Make a Friend with the Relentless Rangers!

The Relentless Rangers made their debut at Global Dance Festival: Wild West Edition in 2015. The group consists of fellow EDM lovers who are willing to dedicate their festival experience to making sure yours goes off without a hitch. Whether an attendee is in need of water, medical attention, or just a point in the right direction, the Rangers will be circulating the crowds itching to help just as much as they’re itching to dance to their favorite sets. They won’t be hard to spot – you’ll see them throughout Hance Park in bright green T-shirts!

Ranger Outpost: All festival goers are welcome inside to use the zone as a meeting place with friends, to find a Ranger, charge cell phones or just cool off and drink water before going hard during the next set. Whatever you need, you’ll find it in the Ranger Outpost or with the help of the Relentless Rangers spanning the park.

Festival Totem Guidelines:

Decorated festival ‘totems’ are okay to bring

– Maximum 10ft tall

– Must be made from lightweight material (eg foam, PVC / no solid metal)

– Collapsible camera telescoping extenders that follow the above guidelines are OK (lightweight/hollow aluminum/polycarbonate)

– PVC, Light Wood, Aluminum poles must be no thicker than 1″ diameter

– Decorated pool noodles work great for easy entrance through security

– Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated upon entry.

Please note that any items that are deemed dangerous may not be admitted into the event.


Getting to and from the event:

We HIGHLY recommend riding the light rail as the light rail stop is just a few minute walk away. You can park at a Park and Ride and ride the light rail to the event. Parking will not be otherwise available directly on site; however, surrounding lots and garages will allow event parking for a fee. There are a number of hotels in the surrounding area, call for reservations. Doors open at noon each day and the event goes until 11 pm each night.
