Yetep19-year-old Carl Garsbo, better known as Kasbo, has been on an undeniable upward trajectory with his dynamic, genre-bending production style and one of a kind releases for the past few years and has accrued more than 10 million streams for his version of “The Little Things” by Big Gigantic since Sept. 2016. As an artist inspired by hip-hop, indie, and R&B, he has cultivated and refined his sound, truly making a name for himself in the scene.
Soulful, evocative, and full of soothing melodies, Kasbo’s sound is inimitable and can move from bass-heavy, synth-fueled sequences to airy atmospheres, all with raw energy that you can feel. Some of Kasbo’s previous releases like “Call” and “World Away” were released on Ultra Music and Foreign Family Collective, and his brand new single is his first ever released on creative company bitbird.
Kasbo enlisted Chelsea Cutler for dreamy vocals on his latest release, titled ‘Found You.’ Cutler sings,“So much we’re dying for, never thought I’d find more,” “I didn’t have to, but I’m so glad I found you” as Kasbo takes over with a light and refreshing future bass drop. On Kasbo’s SoundCloud, his bio reads, “the goal is to make you wanna dance and cry at the same time,” and I think ‘Found You’ is no exception.
