Andy C Remixes Pegboard Nerds’ ‘Speed Of Light’

Since the genre’s emergence in the early ’90s, Andy C has served as a drum n bass pioneer, and has consistently been voted World’s Greatest Drum and Bass DJ. He’s also the owner/creator of RAM Records and specializes in fast mixing, often employing three turntables, and is known for mixing established classics with cutting edge releases.

His most recent creation, is a stunning remix of Pegboard Nerds‘ ‘Speed Of Light,’ off of their Nerds Of Nature EP. Andy shared with Billboard: “I absolutely loved bringing this into the DnB world.” “Such a beautiful soundscape to work with from the guys, I knew as soon as I heard it that I wanted to remix the track. To top it off, the video is a stunning marriage of visuals and vibes. I’m very honoured to be part of the whole project.”

While Pegboard Nerds kept the things light and playful with a synth-driven cut on “Speed Of Light,“ Andy C has only taken the track up a few notches. With his world-renowned Drum & Bass style, he has given a whole new momentum and vision to the track. To add the cherry on top, the remix has also received a charming music video, making it a perfect audio-visual treat.
