YetepCamo & Krooked, comprised of Reinhard “Camo” Rietsch and Markus “Krooked” Wagner, formed in 2007. This drum n bass duo hail from Australia and have brought their unique take on the genre enriched with elements of house and dubstep to the world. They’re celebrating their ten year anniversary by making 2017 their biggest year yet. They just joined the Ram Records family, they’ve been releasing singles left and right like “Ember,” “If I Could,” and “Mandala,” and the full-length album Masaik is set to release later this month.
This week’s Relentless Beat of the Week is Camo & Krooked’s latest single, “Like I Do.”
This new single, released just this week is their most unifying, high profile vocal track to date. Fellow Vienna artist and runaway songwriter sensation James Hersey really adds a unique flair to this track as he professes his love and claims the other guys just doesn’t need you as bad. The collaboration between the pair and James Hersey, who’s worked alongside the likes of Dillon Francis and Kygo, is an emotive crossover anthem with a killer dancefloor vibe. Be on the lookout for their newest album later this month; with three successful singles, one high-profile remix of Noisia and a non-stop world tour into 2017, the Austrian music producers are sure to deliver something big.
