RB Exclusive: Whipped Cream Shares Her Fave Tunes Right Now

Caroline Cecil, better known by her super sweet stage name Whipped Cream, is a Vancouver Island-based DJ. She’s been a music addict and enthusiast since childhood leading her to a successful music career producing hip-hop influenced bass music that is genre bending and cutting edge. Her music has received airtime from Diplo and Friends on BBC Radio 1Xtra and she’s played numerous shows alongside WhatSoNot, Cashmere Cat, AdventureClub, Jauz and more.

For such a small girl her tracks really pack a punch. She says she has “bass in her veins.” Her transition from DJ to producer was natural as she demonstrates a huge amount of range in her productions and when she isn’t busy producing she’s bringing her unique vibe and unmatchable energy to the stage. Ahead of her performance this weekend she’s ‘whipped’ up a playlist of her 15 favorite tunes right now. Check it out below:

This RB Exclusive playlist features some killer tracks that we’re really loving too such as “Gravity” by X&G featuring Josh Pan, “Shrimp Creature” from Borgore, “Drugs” by Anderson.Paak and Ghyrm’s flip of Zomboy’s “Like A Bitch.” It’s a solid playlist to get you through this week and amped up for Whipped Cream’s show this weekend. She’ll be performing alongside Kennedy Jones and Sullivan King on Saturday, June 10th at Monarch Theatre. Grab tickets here!
