YetepBotnek is coming back to AZ and we’re pretty stoked! This Canadian duo, composed of Eric Muse and Gordon Huntley, produces wacky and weird beats that will have your limbs flailing like a fidget spinner–yeah a frickin’ fidget spinner!
The two best buds got their start in the music industry from winning a Dim Mak remix competition and it’s been nothing but tours, shows, and beers since. Fun fuct of the day fact; Botnek is Canadian for beer, amazing right? If I had to use two words to describe a Botnek show I would have to go with futuristic and bouncy. Future bounce perhaps (new genre, who dis.)
But really, a Botnek show stands out from the rest. I was lucky enough to catch their set at the Heineken House this past Coachella and it was hands-down one of my favorites from the festival. Everything from their Getter-esque visuals to their sassy synths makes their show a total party set. Some of their latest and greatest tracks have been collabs with fellow Canadian producer Snails. The filthy meets the funky with “Waffle House” and “ur 2 cool,” two tracks that will have Gypsy bar bouncing. So grab a ticket here, a chilled glass, and your friends because in 3 weeks Botnek is serving up some sick sounds on tap.
