YetepKnown by his stage name of Mura Masa, electronic producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Alex Crossan hails from the Channel Island of Guernsey. A lifelong musician, Crossan began experimenting with beats and electronic production at the age of 15, and just two years later his track “Lotus Eater” was picked up by a number of different BBC Radio 1 DJs, effectively launching his career.
Since then, Mura Masa has blossomed into a well known and loved producer creating dreamy and unique tunes that will send you straight to the clouds. Over the past two weeks, Mura Masa has released four new tracks in preparation for his debut album release on July 14th, “WAVE,” “SOLE M8S,” “BLU,” and now “Second 2 None.”
“Second 2 None” displays a light and quirky melody behind french pop star, Christine and The Queens vocals, led into a poppy drop with choppy whispers and faint signature reggae synths. Stay tuned for the release of Mura Masa’s guest-studded debut album which will also feature Damon Albarn, Charli XCX, A$AP Rocky, and A.K Paul, among others in just a few weeks.
