YetepToday we’re giving the best gift of all, the gift of new music. Until about a week ago I had never heard of Plastik Funk, but luckily for me (and now all of you) they came up on my feed and I am forever grateful. This rising DJ duo gave new life to Marc Scibilia & Staduim X’s tender track“Those Were The Days,” and it’s a direct hit to the feels. I can sum up this song in two words, “mood booster.” The nostalgic and emotive lyrics pairs beautifully with the upbeat tempo makes this song a feel-good happy tune that’s almost impossible not to dance to. The best music elicits a feeling, press play and you’ll be reminiscing about happy days past.
Plastik Funk descends from Dusseldorf, Germany and has established themselves under the house genre. The duo has come a long way from playing German clubs having played some of the largest festivals in Europe such as Ultra and SMAG Sundance Festival along side The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Steve Angello, Flosstradamus, Dash Berlin, W&W, and DVBBS. Check out their new music and become a fan “before it was cool.”
