YetepDJ-Producer Italian trio Sunstars recently released their brand spankin’ new funkalicious track, “Ghetto Funk.” Released on Nicky Romero’s Protocol” record label imprint, the infectious bassline is bound to mold the dancefloor as we known it. Ghetto Funk separates itself from its contemporaries by continuing the tradition of including funk elements in their catalog. Funk has a storied history, and there is no doubt that Sunstars wishes to keep the genre alive through electronic beats and sick stylings.
“Ghetto Funk” acts as the first ever single released on Nicky Romero’s imprint, and follows their track, “Flames,” found on the Protocol’s ADE Compilation. Nicky Romero apparently has big plans for Sunstars, since this gives the opportunity for the trio to expand their funky brand and shake up the trap and progressive house phase we seem to be going through even more.
Sunstars – Ghetto Funk (Official Audio)
“Ghetto Funk” by Sunstars can be found on Beatport, and will definitely help you transition from the hot thumping beats of summer to something more cooler, groovy, and equally energetic for the upcoming seasons.
