Corey James & Henko Drop Progressive Tune ‘Back In Time’ on SIZE Records

UK electronic powerhouse Corey James re-entered the airwaves with his anthemic new single featuring HENKO, “Back In Time.” Corey’s new track utilizes a very progressive sense of house music in its build-up and challenges the listener melodically with its powerful vocal structure. This strong notion of melody and house stylings made it the perfect addition to Steve Angello‘s SIZE Records label, and a solid addition to Corey James’ growing catalog.

While we get our fair share of breathy female and male vocals scattered throughout the house genre, HENKO delivers a distinct vocal style reminiscent of 80s acts Tears for Fears and Rick Astley. The vocals truly act as a breath of fresh air in a genre where said vocal riffs can get monotonous, as he’s making his own mark on a track which already has the huge creative stamp called Corey James.

“Since I heard Corey’s music I heard hunger, talent and will. Once I got to know him I saw something that reminded me of myself when I was young,” said Steve Angello. “I’m extremely excited to see what the future holds and I’ll do anything to support him! Welcome to the family Let’s have some fun.”

With the combination of HENKO’s vibrato and Corey James’ attention to melodic greatness, “Back In Time” is no doubt going to garner attention in the coming weeks. Check out the new track here.
