How Has Rave Culture Changed?
We’re still recovering from BOO! but not letting it stop us from planning for this upcoming weekend already. Friday night Viva La Dead takes place in Albuquerque with Diplo, 4B, Drezo, and Bijou while Drezo, Wax Motif, Gladiator, Nukid and Gerry Gonza perform in Phoenix at the Van Buren. We’re also serving up a double dose on Saturday when Infected Mushroom takes over Monarch with a DJ set and Pete Tong takes over Monarch’s Scarlet room.
10/20 – Viva La Dead 2017 @ Park-It-Place
Taking place in the heart of downtown Albuquerque at Park-It-Place, Viva La Dead is the only place to be this Friday. With EDM superstar Diplo performing alongside bass badasses 4B, Drezo and Bijou this night will surely be one to remember. Better yet, it’s Dia de les Muertos themed, so get your spookiest threads ready.
10/20 – Drezo, Wax Motif, Gladiator, Nukid, & Gerry Gonza – Goldrush Expeditions @ The Van Buren
Next up in our Goldrush Expedition series Drezo, Wax Motif, Gladiator, Nukid and Gerry Gonza take over The Van Buren. All these artists are known for their bass-infused house tunes and will undoubtedly produce knock out sets. This will give you just a taste of what’s to come at Goldrush festival next month!
10/21 – Infected Mushroom (DJ Set) @ Monarch
Infected Mushroom’s new album, Return to the Sauce, further demonstrates what they’ve been known for, putting down some funky sounds. For years, the two have been vibin’ out with all kinds of sets. Sometimes they’re throwing a party with a DJ set, and other times they’re bringing out the instruments for a live performance. With both artists being seasoned pioneers of their genre, this is a show you will not want to miss for its insane visuals (the namesake of Infected Mushroom), and both artists’ close ear to the trends and innovations that EDM has faced over the last decade.
