Paper Diamond Returns After 2 Years With New Single ‘Work 9000’

T0day the bass music scene is dominated by dubstep and dark beats with music from the likes of Rezz, Zomboy, Must Die! and more, but two years ago we had famous Bass artist Paper Diamond. Paper Diamond, born Alexander Botwin, started as a bassist in Pnuma Trio in 2004 and then transitioned over to Electronic Dance Music when he created his own label and started his run as a solo DJ under the name Alex B. With the release of his debut album Levitate in 2011, he then rebranded himself as Paper Diamond and went on to gain popularity and tour the country, playing shows and festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, and Electric Zoo.

Paper Diamond is known for his trap beats and deep bass synths in his songs and remixes, and “Work 9000” follows this trend with the refreshing new sounds that Paper Diamond has cooked up in the past 2 years since he took a break.
