YetepErick Orrosquieta, better known as Deorro, has been slowly building a legacy since he got his start back in 2012. The DJ and producer with a loyal “Panda Fam” following, has become one of the leaders of modern party music thanks to hit tracks like “Five More Hours” with Chris Brown and the Spanish-influenced, “Bailar.” It doesn’t hurt that he’s also landed huge festival gigs across the globe and produced massive collaborations with top artists in the industry, including Diplo, Steve Aoki, and more. He’s even created his own record label, PandaFunk, an imprint focused on giving artists creative license to produce music with authenticity – something Deorro is quite familiar with. This week’s Spin it Back Saturday goes back to early Deorro days, with his 2013 release, “Dechorro.” Check it out below.
While Deorro’s style has evolved ever so slightly since 2012, he’s clearly maintained the same influences throughout his career, ensuring that same authenticity in his music that he strives to produce in others – and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
You can catch Deorro at Talking Stick Resort’s Release Pool Party next month, as well as at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson. Don’t sleep on these tickets!
