YetepHailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the masked DJ/producer duo known as ATLiens has been slowly and silently making waves across the EDM ocean. The mysterious duo has spent the last few years crafting their hard trap and bass style – a reputable style widely known for getting a crowd moving. Today, ATLiens is moving to the forefront of the scene, making them a great fit for this week’s DJ to Watch.
ATLiens starting gaining real attention from fans and other producers within the last few years. One of their early singles, “Hit Em,” set the tone off right for what they were about to bring onto the scene. The track breathes trap and bass – something ATLiens knows all too well today.
Gaining support from the likes of Bassnectar, Jack U, Skrillex, A-Trak, DJ Snake, Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Flosstradamus, Baauer, NGHTMRE, and more, ATLiens started building momentum. In 2017, they released a slew of well-received singles. Among them was “Alchemy,” “Ninth Dimension,” and the dance-inducing “Interlock” with Bassnectar.
Just last year, the duo released their debut EP, Invasion, showing fans exactly what they were capable of. “Interstellar” stands on the EP, with smooth vocals from Sara Skinner and an eclectic combination of dubstep, trap, and future bass.
With their extraterrestrial theme and infectious energy that shines through in each and every track, ATLiens will be at the top soon enough. Keep your eye on these guys.
