Relentless Beat of the Week: Cazztek – ‘Hold Up, Wait a Minute’

There’s a new “face” causing a storm in the world of bass house and this one’s a little different from the rest. Cazztek, a mysterious, mask-sporting DJ and producer, has been active in the scene for a couple years now but has been causing chatter as of late thanks to some banging recent productions and support from some big names like Dillon Francis and Kill the Noise.

The Las Vegas-based talent just released his latest single, “Hold Up, Wait a Minute,” a fast-paced, future house track complete with funky vocals and beatboxing. Check out the single as this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week below.

What makes Cazzkek stand out, apart from his music, which has recently gained the attention of Tchami for his imprint CONFESSION, is his enigmatic persona. The hooded figure sports a medieval, Game of Thrones-esque attire and a mask. Instead of wearing a traditional face mask to conceal his identity, Cazztek wears a reflective version of the mask, with the intention of giving audience members a “representation” of themselves on stage.
