5 EDC Sets We Want to Relive Again and Again

Every year (this year just a bit sooner than the rest) hundreds of thousands of music fans flock to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC, to see their favorite acts perform on the grandest stages. For many artists, EDC is the pinnacle. The standard if you will. It sets the tone for the rest of the festival season so you can’t do it less than big. Every artist brought their all, but these seven acts did it just a little bigger than most.

It’s been a few weeks since we were dancing across the speedway, but not only do want to HEAR these sets again and again, we want to SEE them again and again. Luckily, artists have started to upload the livestreams of their sets, and we couldn’t be happier. Check out 7 amazing sets below.

Seven Lions – EDC Las Vegas 2018 (Full Set)

Perhaps I’m biased as Seven Lions is one of my favorite artists in our scene, but I think everyone who witnessed this set can agree it was something special. Taking place during prime time hours on the last day of the festival, Kinetic Filed was flooding with high-energy and excitement. Seven Lions laced together trance, dubstep, bass and more, and it had the audience captivated.

Tiësto – Live @ Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2018

We wouldn’t expect anything less than greatness from an EDC veteran such as Tiësto, but this set was particularly memorable. Unless you’ve been living in a blissfully ignorant hole, you’re likely aware of Avicii’s passing earlier this year. Many DJs sprinkled Avicii’s tunes into their own sets over the weekend, but Tiësto gave Avicii a proper tribute, dedicating over 12 minutes of his set to the recently passed icon.

Virtual Self || EDC Las Vegas 2018 Full HD Set

VIRTUAL SELF. True to his mysterious fashion, he hasn’t uploaded anything from EDC yet, however, we thought this fan video was pretty awesome. Virtual Self (Porter Robinson’s second project) played a set time almost completely overlapping Kaskade at Kinetic Filed, but his crowd wasn’t lacking in the least. It was a tough call deciding who to see, but with every laser beam and high-energy drop, I was pleased with my decision.

Don Diablo Live At EDC Las Vegas 2018

Don Diablo was without a doubt one of the funner sets I had the pleasure of catching over the weekend. He dominated the main stage with his fresh, upbeat vibe and danceable tunes. It was a nice reminder that house time is any time and any time is house.

Cirez D @ Neon Garden EDC Las Vegas 2018 [Full Set 4K]

EDC seems to have gone for a minimalist effect when designing this year’s Neon Garden stage, but it didn’t hinder the outstanding visuals. Neon Garden has been a haven for all things house and techno, and this year some of the best talents in the world took the stage, including Cirez D. Sensory overload are the two words that come to mind when I reminisce on this set.

This year’s Electric Daisy Carnival was a spectacular event. Top-notch production and mind-blowing sets made it unforgettable, and with these videos we can relive those magical moments forever.
