YetepBelgium Techno Goddess Charlotte de Witte is back with a mission: to take you to the darkest part of the underworld with her dystopian techno. Her newest EP The Healer has healing abilities that are giving doctors a run for their money. The EP starts by diving deep into solid, perfectly timed basslines that instantly grab listeners attention. As The Healer progresses, fruitful sound elements are added on top of these basslines, creating a euphoric and happy melody that you won’t be able to stop dancing too. The track “Kuda” gets special recognition because of its distorted lyrics that have you questioning everything you thought you knew about techno music. Avoid heavy machinery while listening to this beautiful EP.
Charlotte de Witte is a fresh face in the techno industry, but that hasn’t stopped her from already playing some of the biggest stages around the world. She’s conquered Ultra Europe, EDC Las Vegas and many more. She’s still got a long year ahead of her too. In August, she will take over England at one of their biggest festivals, Boomtown 2018, along with a ton of other festivals along the way. Us Phoenicians will have a chance to experience the one and only de Witte ourselves on November 11th at Shady Park. Grab tickets here!
