Audien Takes It Up a Notch on ‘Higher’

Audien is finally making some noise this year! The progressive house/trance producer comes home to his Anjuna family with “Higher,” his first single released on Anjunabeats since 2014, and it couldn’t be a better homecoming. It’s also the first single Audien has released since 2017, but he proves it was worth the wait with this captivating track. “Higher” is special, and Anjunabeats is the perfect label for it.

The melody Audien has created for this track alone is beautiful, but Cecilia Gault’s heavenly voice harmonizes with lyrics like “As long as we’re together we will rise,” to give a feelsy vibe. The powerful synths add an intensely euphoric element, which can also be attributed to Audien’s skills as a trance producer as well. His versatile capabilities add dimension to a track that might otherwise be one dimensional–no wonder he’s been in the game for so long. Only a master like Audien can go more than half the year without releasing a single but then jump back in like he was never gone. With some luck, maybe we’ll see another release before the year is over.
