YetepWith dark experimental bass on the rise, now is the time to keep an eye on the up-and-comers, and while Shadient has only recently gained mainstream attention, the Essex producer has been producing music for over nine years and it shows in his talent and his relationships with established producers. Shadient has a coveted spot on Rezz‘s Red Rocks lineup this year, and he also happens to be buds with none other than Porter Robinson. Porter spotted Shadient with a brand new laptop after his old one finally gave out last year. In addition, Porter used his birthday as an excuse to shout out diamonds in the rough, and Shadient was one of them.

If Porter’s words for Shadient don’t speak loudly enough to you, have a look at his Soundcloud. It’s filled with deep, twisted bass in remixes and original tracks, including his EP Winter=Reality and a Virtual Self remix (are you surprised?) One of his latest releases, ‘Fadient’ is a space bass rendition on a classic pop track.
I’ll be catching Shadient at Rezz Rocks in October, and maybe the bass aliens will teleport him for a show in AZ someday. Who knows?
