YetepShortly after Kyle Watson‘s debut in the Valley of the Sun where he played at Shady Park in Tempe, he dropped his debut album Into the Morning. As covered before, Kyle Watson is a trained classical musician from South Africa. This knowledge and training can be heard throughout his album, where he plays with different styles of music. “Control Ya,” featuring PHFAT easily has you bass-facing throughout the whole track, while “Sunday School” and “Chomp” are tracks that can be tied into any tech house set. Each song, although different, has Kyle’s unique flair to it, which is probably why each song is so easy to listen to.
This album definitely put Kyle on the map. He’s always been talented, and he’s always been someone that everyone should check out, but this album just shows how good he truly is and how much fluidity he has in his style. Let’s hope this isn’t the only album we get from him, and that this is just a taste of the talent he has to show us.
