Figure Unmasks ‘The Asylum (Monsters 9)’

Bass music’s Figure celebrates the upcoming holiday perfectly with the LP dubbed The Asylum, his annual ‘Monsters’ release. Filled with terrifying Halloween themed organs, this collection has everything from the most classic wonks to new spooky intros. This ghoulish album is absolute gas. Leading off with the eerie intro track “Welcome to the Asylum” featuring  Don’t Kill It, that horror is felt instantly.

“Dr. Death” released by Insomniac featuring Dack Janiels also brings a fury of saturated bass before breaking down into dirty dubs. Also featuring Don’t Kill It, “The Escape” is one of the most notable songs on the LP. Arguably the filthiest, the vocal chops in this one before the drop will make you make you go insane. Other artists featuring on this release include Hatch, Born|Music, and 2Fac3d, all excellently doing their part bringing together this Monsters lineup.

After only a couple of years since taking his current alias, Figure has been wildly exceeding expectations. Climbing the ladder and gaining the attention of pretty much everybody in the bass music scene, his previous Monster series have been used as the soundtrack for Hollywood Horror Nights at Universal Studios in LA.  Currently on the Bloodbath Tour, you can expect this man to continue to grow and tear up stages across the country with Megalodon this fall. Keep up to date with this craftsman and make sure to give a The Asylum a listen, if you dare..
