YetepFransis Derelle, born Antuane Walker in Salt Lake City, Utah, followed the path of his parents, who were also established musicians. He first got his feet wet in music playing the trombone in his school band, and when he hit high school, he explored other genres, which led him to hip hop and trap. He began DJing and from there began producing original music. Today, Derelle is known for incorporating all different types of styles, and his production has been played by the likes of Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, the Chaismokers, and many more.
Speaking of incorporating diverse styles, Derelle has teamed up with Awoltalk and Nate Lowpass for his latest track, “Vone.” Check it out below.
A unique track, “Vone” combines influences from dance music’s most popular genres, including funk, disco, house, and trap. Derelle, Awoltalk, and Nate Lowpass have come together successfully in this song to pull all the best aspects from these genres into one banger of a dance track. “Vone” varies in style, tempo, and sound from start to finish, giving listeners the best of ALL worlds.
You can catch Fransis Derelle alongside Marshmello, Skrillex, and Eric Prydz at this year’s Decadence Arizona, taking place at Rawhide Event Center on December 30 and 31. Purchase tickets here before they disappear!
