Phoenix Warehouse Project Reveals Massive 2-Day Lineup with Tchami, Gorgon City, Biscits, Azzecca, Max Styler, & More
This New Music Friday is particularly special, as it brings us one of those rare collaborations of not two, but three powerhouse producers. “First Time” is the brainchild of artists who are each masters of their genres: Seven Lions, SLANDER, and Dabin. In this single, released via Seven Lions’ own Ophelia Records, the team’s many talents meld into an unstoppable force of melodic dubstep.
To break down the team: first, there’s Seven Lions, whose genre-defying tendencies and love of trance make his epic drops some of the best of the melodic scene. Next, there’s SLANDER—the high-profile duo who dominates festival main stages and co-owns their Gud Vibrations label. Finally, the team is completed by Canadian producer, Dabin, who brings his diverse musical background and raw creativity.
Stacked with all that talent, it’s no wonder that “First Time” is a deeply moving production. However, there’s one more musician who must be mentioned: the featured vocalist, Dylan Matthew, who is a past SLANDER collaborator. His angelic vocals sit atop the complex, lush textures concocted by the three producers.
This highly-anticipated release drops at a busy time for all those involved. Seven Lions is currently on The Journey 2 tour, which just passed through Arizona two weeks ago bringing an epic performance he The Van Buren. SLANDER is busy headlining their Headbangers Ball tour while Dabin is joining K?D on his Find Paradise tour. Who else can’t wait to hear “Find Time” live?
