YetepBeing an artist can come with some frustrations, especially when it comes to dealing with industry bureaucracy. Earlier this week, Denver-based producer DMVU took to his Twitter to express his concern with the delays on 17 of his unreleased tracks.
Fed the fuck up with the amount of time labels take to do shit. Sitting on 17 unreleased heaters. Giving yall new music tomorrow instead of waiting for someone to release it because fuck that y'all need to hear this new.

DMVU quickly followed up his tweet to say “I’m not anti-label. I’m just pro putting out music quick.” Luckily, his fans get to reap the benefits of his frustration with labels. Shortly after the tweet, DMVU dropped the first of these self-released tracks.
When you hear “Imma Brricc,” it’s easy to understand why DMVU was so impatient to drop this heater!
You can catch DMVU on Dirt Monkey’s Rise of the Octopeel Tour at AURA Nightclub November 24th, including additional support from SubDocta. Tickets here.
