YetepAnnouncements have been flying left and right over the past few weeks for Electric Forest—the beloved music festival in Rothbury, Michigan and, notoriously, one of the happiest places on Earth. First, the festival announced it would return to one weekend after two years of separate weekends, stating environmental reasons. Then, the lineup rolled out, featuring giant headliners Odesza, Kygo, Zeds Dead, and festival resident, Bassnectar. And finally, the tickets for 2019 sold out in an impressive four hours after going live.

For those who secured tickets (and those who are still seeking), now is the perfect time to start discovering the 100+ acts that have been announced so far. Thankfully, every year, members of the Electric Forest sub-reddit take on the task of breaking down the entire lineup by genre. In this year’s post, Reddit user Thellamasong sorts each artist according to large categories like bass/dubstep, house/techno, indie/alternative and so on.
With the help of this list, you are sure to discover some brand new artists from your favorite genres. Check out the entire Reddit post here and don’t forget to stream the Official Electric Forest 2019 Playlist!
