YetepThere’s something about throwing dial tones, beeps, and button clicks from a phone integrated into grimy bass that just works. If you don’t know what I mean, you need to check out Space Laces’ newest track “Phone Tap.” This track’s use of these soundbites gives it an eerie and dark feel, that is just as much mysterious as it is captivating. Take a listen to the track below.
“Phone Tap” slaps from start to finish. Its eerie feel is haunting and takes listeners on a hypnotizing trip down the rabbit hole. Added vocals of a woman yelling to use the phone make the track even more strange. This track is perfect for fans wonky, head banging bass drops and chilling breaks.
Space Laces has been busy at work catering to fans with filthy dubstep. When he’s not busy being one of the funniest producers on Twitter or in the studio working with artists like Excision and Getter, you can catch Space Laces hard at work coming up with that new banging sound. He recently dropped a mix Vaultage 001 packed with previously unreleased, wonky tracks.
Space Laces is opening the pit up on March 9th at The Van Buren with Zomboy on his Rot n Roll Tour. Grab tickets here.
