Watch it Wednesday: Slushii – ‘Never Let You Go’

Shortly after the release of his melodic full-length album, DREAM, Slushii came back with another single, a poppy tune much different from his usual style, called “Never Let You Go.” The track features singer Sofia Reyes’ lovely vocals, both in English and in Spanish.

The music video follows Slushii and Reyes, a couple of convenience store workers trying to find ways to make their drag of a job more interesting. Reyes sings into the loud speaker and dances up and down the aisles, Slushii finds interesting ways to ward off drunk and rude customers, and the two play games, eat snacks, and laugh. It’s light hearted and fun, just as the bouncy, tropical-tinged track intends.
