YetepSajeeb Saha, aka Jai Wolf, recently released his debut album, The Cure To Loneliness, comprised of 12 tracks designed to take listeners on a journey through nostalgia, melancholy, and euphoria. His signature sound is present throughout the album, including his usual influences (Odesza comes to mind) along with some indie electronica twists and even a burst of pop. Saha clearly put his heart and soul into making his debut album – check it out for yourself below.
The album artwork alone speaks volumes. It shows what looks like Saha himself, with colors bursting and swirling out of his head, a visual representation of the auditory experience listeners are about to embark on.
Listeners will get their Indie/Alternative fix with “Lose My Mind,” featuring lyrics by singer/songwriter Mr Gabriel, who’s worked with Saha in the past on his 2017 “Starlight.” “Still Sleeping” has a fun, 80’s synthed-out vibe to it, “Better Apart” ft. Dresage is radio-ready, and you’ll find both “Telepathy” and “Manic Pixie Dream” to be in true Jai Wolf form – dreamy and nostalgic.
Catch Jai Wolf on his The Cure to Loneliness tour as he stops in Phoenix at the Van Buren on Thursday, May 30. Click here to purchase tickets.
