Relentless Beat of the Week: Ray Volpe – ‘Curb Stomp’

For a producer barely in his 20’s, Ray Volpe sure seems to know what he’s doing. The LA-based artist dropped out of high school to focus on music full time, and it might have been one of the best decisions he’s made. He’s since released several EPs, supported tours for artists like Borgore, Krewella, and Kill The Noise, and performed at some major festivals, including Audiotistic, Escape Halloween, and more.

For this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week, start stretching those neck muscles, because Ray Volpe has released a neck breaker. Check out “Curb Stomp” below.

In signature Ray Volpe flair, the track features a long, anticipatory buildup that launches into a screeching, chaotic drop. It’s a perfectly suitable follow-up to his Purpose EP, which released last month via Never Say Die. He’ll be showcasing “Curb Stomp,” along with more new music, on his North American tour with UBUR this year. Be sure to catch the two as they head to The Green Room in Flagstaff on May 4.
