YetepLA-based dance-pop duo Lost Kings teamed up with Social House and Wiz Khalifa earlier this year for the melodic single, “Don’t Kill My High,” released on their four-track Paper Crowns EP. The single is a vibey future bass number with hip-hop vocals from both Khalifa and Social House blending seamlessly together. Check out the music video below for “Don’t Kill My High” as this week’s Watch it Wednesday.
The video follows the all-star cast around a fluorescent neon-tinged house party complete with floating pool toys and weed of course (it is Khalifa after all). It’s got a laid-back feel to it, matching the attitude of the track.
Lost Kings collaborate often with high profile artists from the mainstream world. They’ve enlisted artists like A$AP Ferg, Tinashe, and Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke in the past. “Don’t Kill My High” is yet another crossover hit for the duo and will likely achieve similar success.
