Yakz Unleashes Monstrous Track ‘Check Mate’

David Mitori, better known as Yakz, is a DJ and electronic music producer based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Yakz creates music of the dubstep/riddim/heavy bass variety. If you are a frequenter of the scene you are surely likely to have come across his collabs with noted bass producers like Midnight Tyrannosaurus and Dubloadz. His most popular song to date is his massive collab with is “Shut Em Down” with SVDDEN DEATH.

Through all the rips, drips and dub clips, none has stood out quite like his latest single called “Check Mate”. This one brings the heat with monstrous sounds that bite. Seeming like this tune could be labeled as monsterstep, Yakz has things sounds like screams an acid-dipped creator. Words don’t do it justice; check it out below.
