YetepYou may have heard Two Friends from their viral remixes of “Trap Queen, “I Miss You,” or “Mr. Brightside.” Or maybe you’ve heard of them through support from the likes of Tiesto, The Chainsmokers, or Martin Garrix. Regardless, if you don’t know Two Friends, now is the time to get to know them, as they’re about to dominate the scene.
The duo is made up of Matt Halper and Eli Sones, who paired up in high school to remix popular songs by Lana Del Rey, Alesso, and Tori Kelly, to name a few. Halper and Sones quickly proved their versatility in songwriting and production, drawing from influences across all genres. After the internet launched them into the spotlight, the pair took their talents to the radio and stages across the country.
2017 was a good year for Two Friends, as they released their highly successful EP, Out of Love via Spinnin’ Records, embarked on a major tour, and booked coveted spots on lineups for Terminal 5 and Electric Forest. 2017 was also the year The Chainsmokers named them “Most Underrated Artist in a Reddit thread.
The duo has not slowed down since then, and it won’t be long before they’re a household name in the industry.
Two Friends will be at Aura Nightclub in Tempe on July 20th. Click here to purchase tickets.
